Eleonore Austerer Gallery

"First Word" by Edward Lentsch.

Special Advertorial Feature

The Eleonore Austerer Gallery, now in its 20th year, opened its desert location to complement the well-established San Francisco gallery, owned by Eleonore Austerer until 2003. Originally from Vienna, she has more than thirty-five years of experience and is an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers.

The gallery specializes in works by the giants of Modernism. On exhibit are paintings; drawings; watercolors and rare, signed, limited edition graphics by Braque, Calder, Chagall, Klee, Leger, Matisse, Miró, Picasso, Rouault, and Kandinsky.

Opening early this season is a “must see” exhibit, highlighting the sophisticated work of the internationally acclaimed Mexican master Rufino Tamayo. In January, the gallery presents a showing of works by the British sculptor Henry Moore, displaying several exquisite ink and watercolor drawings, a large 1949 wall hanging; and a few select signed, limited edition etchings, most of which served as preliminary sketches for his monumental sculptures.

The gallery’s contemporary exhibition space showcases a large selection of high-quality art in a wide range of styles and media. Included are the elegant watercolors of Ed Baynard; the innovative mixed media creations of Eric C. Johnson and Edward Lentsch, the hyper realistic paintings of Roberto Azank; and the subtle yet colorful abstract paintings of David Einstein, Father Bill Moore, and Daniel Phill. Also on display are a wide range of sculptures, such as the figurative work by Cheryl Barnett and Michael Gard and the colorful abstractions in steel and glass by Roberto Lauro and Brian Russell.
